| The “Topknot” herd of Boer goats is owned by Nicola Knott. The herd is based at Hill House Farm - a small family farm owned by Nicola and her husband Peter. There are no employees on the farm with the majority of the work done by Peter himself, some help from Nicola and some casual labour during harvest and autumn drilling time. Peter and Nicola also have three young daughters who enjoy helping with the goats and other farm jobs. |

| The farm, is located in the heart of Suffolk, close to the A14 between the towns of Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich. It comprises approximately 140 acres of Arable land on which wheat, malting barley , oats and beans are grown. |

There is also a pig unit that rears 400 pigs from 7kg to 45kg on an “all in - all out” batch system, on a contract basis. The pig unit is Freedom Foods registered with the RSPCA. The farm also has a share farming agreement on a further 70 acres of arable land belonging to a retired neighbouring farmer and contract farms the arable land (some 40 acres) of a dairy farm belonging to Nicola’s parents a mile and a half down the road. |
