Canadian males loose in paddock, with canadian females in the background. Out of the breeding season these two full grown males live together.

The picture above (on the left) shows a home bred group of boer x dairy kids (3 months old) with some of their dams. On the right you can see a 4 month old boer x dairy kid (a castrate) from the same group. His liveweight was 35 Kg (approx) and the carcase weighed 20 Kg. .
Goat meat is available seasonally and can be butchered to requirements by a local village butcher.
Boer x AOV dairy goats produces fast growing kids with excellent carcase - hence the enormous potential of the boer goat as a "terminal sire".
